Why this one is sealed

The LED in this light is integrated — not a bulb you take out. It lives under a capstone, in the wettest joint of the wall, so the LED, its driver and the lens are one sealed bar — IP67 — with nothing to open. The housing rotates to aim the light; the plate is cut to the stone.

So there is no cap to unscrew. When it fails, the unit you replace is the light, and inside the warranty that replacement is ours — order number, product name, one photo.

The path lights, the spotlight and the bulbs are built the other way, with a stock bulb you can pull. We say which is which on every page.

Twelve lights is a 36 W load. The kit transformer carries them; a landscape transformer carries many more.

At 80% of its rating the kit transformer carries 17 of these; a 200 W landscape transformer carries 53, a 300 W carries 80. Spacing along a wall is 3–4 ft; on steps, one per tread or every other.

Putting it in

Cut the plate to the stone, set it under the cap with the light on the front edge, rotate the housing to aim down the face, connect, power up before the cap goes back on. Step by step

What the numbers mean

Seven inches long and two-thirds of an inch thick: it disappears under the capstone and the wall face does the glowing.

3 watts a light: twelve on one wall is 36 W. The kit transformer carries the twelve; on a 200 W landscape transformer, 53.

2900 K on stone and brick reads warmer than 3000 K and less orange than 2700 K — it is the nameplate value, and the one we quote.

Questions people ask

Is a transformer included?

Only in the kit. Take the kit if this is the first wall on a run of its own: its transformer carries the twelve and nothing else needs sizing. Take the twelve alone if you already have a landscape transformer with room for 36 W.

Warm or white?

Warm is 2900 K — the nameplate value — and it is what stone and brick want. White is for concrete and painted block.

How do I aim it?

The housing rotates in the plate. Set it under the cap, turn it until the light runs down the face and not out into the garden, then put the cap back.

Can I cut the plate?

Yes — the stainless mounting plate cuts to fit the stone, so the light sits on the front edge.

Will it run on the 12 V transformer I already own?

Input is 12–24 V AC or DC, which covers standard landscape transformers. Twelve lights are 36 W.

What is the warranty?

Ten years on the aluminum fixture. A claim is the order number, the product name and one photo; the replacement ships from the U.S. warehouse. Warranty terms
