We put a replaceable bulb — the kind usually reserved for brass fixtures — into die-cast aluminum, then gave the aluminum a thicker coat, so the fixture outlives the bulb instead of the other way round.

Our replaceable-bulb models use standard G4 or MR16 sockets, with bulbs available from multiple suppliers. Match the bulb specifications to your fixture and check our current replacement-bulb range before ordering.

Changing the bulb

Unscrew the cap, pull the G4, push in a new one. The stake stays buried, the connector stays connected.

The parts

Cap, lens, gasket, socket, stem, stake. For now a damaged light is replaced whole; single parts go through support — email us the part name.

One per light, in the box. Join the lead to the main cable, read 12 V on the meter — done.

Our G4 path lights run on 12–15 V AC or 12–24 V DC. You can reuse a transformer from an existing low-voltage system if its output type, voltage and capacity match the exact fixtures; size the load from the table above and check each product's rated input. Kits with a dedicated power supply use their specified components.
