Disconnect power and let the bulb cool before opening the top. Replace it with a G4 bi-pin LED that matches the fixture’s electrical rating and available space, then secure the housing before restoring power.

Use the cylinder profile to mark a route or planting edge. Trial the position after dark before installing.

Entry walk Place beside the paving to mark the route to the door.
Narrow side path Keep the fixture clear of the walking surface and allow room for maintenance.

Plan the layout and power

Start with a straight run and a trial spacing. Counts include both ends; test the effect after dark before final installation.

Includes both ends of one straight run: divide length by spacing, round up, then add one. These trial spacings are layout examples; check the light after dark.

Example: a 60 ft run with gaps no greater than 8 ft needs 9 lights, spaced 7.5 ft apart. Their total load is 27W with the supplied 3W bulbs.

For curved paths or lights on both sides, plan each run separately and add the counts.

Before installation

Position the lights and plan the cable route before fixing the stakes. Disconnect power before wiring. Follow the supplied instructions and applicable installation requirements.

Match your power supply

Multiply the number of connected lights by 3W, then add every other fixture on the transformer. Four, six and twelve lights use 12W, 18W and 36W. For the 3-Zone Stainless Transformer, plan the combined load across all three zones at no more than 80% of rated capacity.

What the numbers mean

2700K gives a warm white appearance. The manufacturer rates each light at 120 lumens; this is not a coverage-distance guarantee. IP65 is for outdoor rain and dust, not submersion.

Questions people ask

Which replacement bulb should I use?

Use a compatible G4 bi-pin LED. Match the input type, voltage, wattage and physical clearance; the base alone does not establish compatibility. Keep 2700K for the original warm white color. Ask about a replacement bulb

Is this a solar light?

No. It is a wired low-voltage path light powered by a compatible transformer or power supply.

How much power does each pack use?

With the supplied 3W bulbs, packs of 1, 4, 6 and 12 lights use 3W, 12W, 18W and 36W respectively. Add all other lights on the same transformer when calculating the load.

What is the warranty?

The aluminum fixture is covered for 10 years; HIBOITEC G4 bulbs for one year. Registration is not required. Contact support@hiboitec.com with your order number, product name and a photo. Warranty terms
