Rated input for all 12 V fixtures: 12–15 V AC or 12–24 V DC. Wiring outside that range, or a transformer of the wrong type, is not covered.
What covered means
We replace the light that failed, not the promise. A replacement fixture — or, when the failure is the bulb, a bulb — ships from our U.S. warehouse. For most claims we do not need the old one back.
Why five years on the coast
Most aluminum warranties shorten at the shoreline. Ours does not, because the coating is specified for it: a 70–100 μm powder coat on die-cast aluminum, tested to 500 hours of salt spray. Peeling, blistering or corrosion through the coat is covered for the full five years, inland or coastal. Brass is covered for life because brass does not fail that way; it weathers to a patina, and patina is not a defect.
Not covered
- Damage from external force — mowers, string trimmers, vehicles, tools, falling branches.
- Wiring outside 12–15 V AC / 12–24 V DC, or connection to a transformer of the wrong type.
- Modification, or disassembly beyond the serviceable parts.
- Submersion of fixtures not rated for it.
- The normal weathering of any finish, including brass patina.
- Bulbs not sold by HIBOITEC.
Out of warranty
Every fixture is sold singly or in small packs, and every bulb is a stock size. When a light finally goes, you replace one light, not the set; when a bulb goes, it is a two-dollar part from any hardware store. That is not a warranty. It is how the line was built.

No. Five years on aluminum, coastal or inland. The 70–100 μm coat is specified for salt air and sprinklers and tested to 500 hours of salt spray; coating failure is covered for the full term.

External force is not covered. But every fixture is sold singly, so you replace the one light the mower found, not the run.

Peeling, blistering or corrosion through the coat is a defect and is covered for five years. Even, gradual weathering of a finish is not. Brass turning to patina is not a defect either — it is what brass does.

Bulbs sold by HIBOITEC — G4, MR11, MR16 — for one year. Bulbs from the hardware store are not ours to cover, and they do not affect the warranty on the fixture.
